Hello, everyone! Thank you for clicking this page💗 it's been a while and actually I had watched some good movies and TV series, but I just don't have time to write a review😣 I'll try my best to be consistent and update my blog at least once a week. Wish me luck! (੭ˊᵕˋ)੭

Today I want to share my opinions on a Japanese drama that I'm sure many of you have watched. Yes, it's Ousama ni Sasagu Kusuriyubi.

Native Title: 王様に捧ぐ薬指
Director(s): Toshio Tsuboi, Masahiro Izumi

This drama is about Ayaka Haneda (Kanna Hashimoto), a pretty but seems like an evil woman, who works in the bridal department when suddenly she is asked by her boss, Togo Nitta (Ryosuke Yamada), to marry him.

First of all, this drama is perfect for marriage of convinience fans. Since the beginning of the episode, it's clear that the two leads have a purpose of doing this marriage. Yes, they have a contract for the marriage, but I think marriage of convinience is more suitable to describe the trope of this drama. Ayaka can get money and help her big family (she has many siblings) and Togo can build a good reputation (and benefit) for his family's company by making cute videos about his daily life with Ayaka. But since the marriage itself wasn't based on love, the two leads always tease each other and the banter between these two is so cute and funny.

(One of the scenes where they have to act for the sake of the video, but they are so adorable together!⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ )

We can see that although they don't like each other at first, the chemistry is already there. And when they start falling in love, it's the cutest thing ever! (By the way, even though they were acting while filming the videos, we can see that they slowly have feelings towards each other) Kanna Hashimoto and Ryosuke Yamada are the pair that we didn't know we needed! Their chemistry is chef's kiss; they look so good together (plus their visuals are so heavenly). Togo is such a wholesome, dreamy, and caring guy and I love him so much. He's one of the best part of this drama.

Another thing that I like about this drama is how passionate Ayaka is in doing her job as a wedding planner. It adds another element in this drama. I also often see it in other Japanese dramas where the characters are often so passionate about something and it's so refreshing to watch. I also like the family dynamic in this drama, especially in Ayaka's family.

(Wedding planner Ayaka)

(Togo's bestfriend, Koji Akita and Ayaka's younger brother, Riku Haneda. Played by Yuki Morinaga and Kento Nagao respectively)

This drama doesn't only contain happy couple life, but also there is another plot like love triangle between Togo, Ayaka, and Ayaka's high school friend, Kento Kamiyama (Ryota Bando). And also, another sub-plot is annoying mother (Nanako Matsushima). Unfortunately I don't like how these two sub-plots are done. If you're fine with these kinds of sub-plot, you might enjoy it. But I'm not a fan of love triangle and annoying mother, but if they're done correctly, I still can enjoy them. But again, it's based on your preference.

(Ayaka and her high school friend, Kento Kamiyama, played by Ryota Bando)

(Togo's mother, played by Nanako Matsushima)

Also, there is a specific situation that makes me don't really like Ayaka's character development. I can't say in which part, because it will lead into a spoiler. At first, I really liked her. Knowing her background made me understand why she behaves that way. But then, giving the situations and how trust is so precious to Togo, I can't believe Ayaka chose to act like that and be on Kamiyama's side.

But don't worry because this drama ends happily and is still worth watching nonetheless. Highly recommend if you're a fan of marriage of convinience fans or if you're a fan of the the leads. I'll give this one 3,8 out of 5⭐️ have you watched this drama? Let me know your thoughts on the comments below😊 see you on the next post!💗

(P.S. Takumi Kitamura also made a special appearance in this drama💗)

Japanese Movie Review: Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight (Konya, Sekai kara kono Koi ga Kietemo) [2022]

If you love torturing yourself by watching sad movies like I do, then you need to watch Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight (今夜、世界からこの恋が消えても -native title). (The Movie Poster) I will insert the official Twitter here , and more information on AsianWiki here . Maori Hino (Riko Fukumoto) has retrograde amnesia. She basically will forget everything if she falls asleep. When she wakes up, she reads many signs in her room that tell her to read her diary. Her diary is the only thing that can explain her activities before she was asleep. One day, Toru Kamiya (Shunsuke Michieda), a guy from her school, asks her to be his girlfriend. And Maori said yes. Then the story begins. (Shunsuke Michieda as Toru Kamiya) (Riko Fukumoto as Maori Hino) Reading from the synopsis on AsianWiki and other sources, we already know where the story will go. I mean, isn't it already sad that Maori have to face that situation? There is a fake dating trope in this movie. Yes, at first Maori and Toru
