Let's see how many reviews that will come in the last days of 2023๐ today, I want to share a review of Japanese drama that released on the summer of 2023, Trillion Game.

Trillion Game tells a story of Haru Tennoji (Ren Meguro) and Manabu Taira/Gaku (Hayato Sano) who follows a job interview in the nation's largest company, Dragon Bank. However, only Haru who gets accepted, but he turns down the offer. Instead, he wants to start his own company with Manabu Taira. Haru has a goal, which is to earn 1 trillion dollars.

I heard many good things about this drama, and it didn't disappoint! A really fast paced, addicting, and entertaining drama about start up company, business rivalry, and friendship.
Haru is a charismatic character who is also very stubborn and demanding (he said that himself๐) if it's about his goal. He is very charming and sometimes manipulative but I can see that he doesn't do that randomly. And he actually is very caring towards people around him. Sometimes Haru's idea is very out of the box, but it works! Every step is already calculated by him and it's one of the most entertaining things in this drama because sometimes, Haru seems that random y'all๐

On the other hand, there's Gaku, Haru's bestfriend who is a very smart engineer and excellent in IT knowledge. Gaku is the exact opposite of Haru: he faces a difficult time in communicating with other people, but he is such a kindhearted person and believes in everyone around him. Due to this personality, Gaku and Haru forms a great friendship and best partner in their business.

The ladies in this drama are so pretty! Rinrin Takahashi (Riko Fukumoto) is hired by Trillion Game Company as their CEO. Rinrin is a pretty woman with a careful personality who brings the positive and cheerful vibe to the company.

And then, there is a daughter of the owner of Dragon Bank, Kirika Kokuryu or "Princess Kirika" (Mio Imada). This woman is eccentric, and her presence is iconic. A goddess-like face, stylish wardrobes and her stubborn personality. This combination makes Kirika a great character, especially when she's around Haru. I love the tension between these two! Romance is like a sub-plot in this drama and it's even presented very subtly, but I like it!

Haru-Kirika is a very famous ship in the fandom, but I also love Gaku-Rinrin as equal as Haru-Kirika♡
Other characters and the casts like Kedoin-san (Koji Kikkawa) and villain Kazuma Kokuryu (Jun Kunimura) are also great and compliment the story nicely. But I really like Ren, Hayato, Riko and Mio. They embody their characters well and make the characters stand out even more.

Overall, I really like this drama because how fast paced it is (45 minute-ish doesn't even feel that long), the storyline and the acting are great, and the business and the friendship aspect is very enjoyable. There's a possibility too that this drama might have a second season, because even though it ends happily, Haru and Gaku's journey continues. I give this drama 4,5 out of 5 stars.
